Statement of Faith

We preach God's word in truth, the death, burial, resurrection and coming again of the holy one Jesus Christ.

We are committed to serving God and your needs, your family and the community using universal principles of spirituality. We offer practical tools for leading a joyous, abundant and peaceful life. We believe that walking together will enable us to make it to eternal joy in Heaven when we leave these physical bodies someday. Wherever you may be on your spiritual path, at VFCI you will find a supportive community with a wealth of opportunities and family atmosphere for the spiritual and personal growth.

What we believe

Trinity

We believe that the word of God is the final Authority in all matters pertaining to life, Christian doctrine, and church function. We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father is the Creator of the world and is actively involved in humanity. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world. We believe that the Holy Spirit is continuing the work of Jesus upon the earth. See Matthew 28:19.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sin. We believe that salvation is only found by placing our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back for a spotless and wrinkles free, that's a sanctified church (Ephesians 5:27, Revelations 3:5), Romans 5:1; 5:8‐9. Church Membership, once a person is saved, they should seek out a biblically balanced church, where they can be discipled and seek to serve God through the local Church and be empowered to stand more boldly on the word of God as in Acts 4:31.

Communion

We believe in the regularly receiving of Communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us through dying on the cross. 1 Corinthians 11:24‐25.

Church discipline

All believers are held accountable to the Lord and to the church and to each other.

Baptism

It is a sacrament that is expected of the believer after salvation. Baptism is by immersion and is symbolic of our Lord's death, burial and resurrection. This is the practice of the church but is not necessary for salvation and it is a onetime occurrence. We believe and know that spiritual warfare is a part of our journey as we walk, function and operate in the power and authority given to us in the name, blood of Jesus Christ and word of God against the enemy of mankind and God. We fight only against these evil forces and we use only spiritual weapons in our warfare as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4‐5 and Ephesians 6:12.

Outreach mission

Evangelism-Outreach-Missions: We believe in the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost for the purpose of fulfilling the great commission. We do by holding Gospel crusades, supporting other churches and ministers of the Gospel, (supporting missionaries) who bring the gospel to distant people… Also, as a local outreach we show God's love by helping the poor, sick, needy and elderly through various ministries.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5‐6

Go on a Mission Trip with our Pastors

Be part of God's mobilized missionary teams that are impacting the world through sharing the gospel of Christ.

Be a Prayer partner

Every person can have a part in reaching the unreached and supporting the service of missionaries through prayer.

Send Missionaries

Give financially or be our financial partner to send missionaries and spread the gospel around the world.

Men, Girls / Young Adult Men

Working alongside Victory Family Church Uganda to raise up strong men and women through mentorship, bible studies, sports, construction projects and community outreaches in Uganda.

School Mission

Partnering with Victory Family Church Uganda to minister to students, children and families in small towns through sports, music, evangelism, drama skits and other ministry activities.

God doesn't call the equipped but equips the called.
